Auswide Bank is seeking a suitable candidate to fill the role of Broker Relationship Manager.

From a strong support base in Central and South-East Queensland, Auswide Bank has expanded nationally and needs a highly motivated Broker Relationship Manager who has mortgage lending experience and expertise within the financial services 3rd party Broker channel.

The Broker Relationship Managers play a vital role in our 3rd party channel and require a good level of commercial awareness.  The role is responsible for growing our 3rd party portfolio and to build, develop and maintain excellent broker and aggregator relationships in a high touch environment.

The ideal candidate will have at least 2yrs experience in residential lending sales, preferably with a focus in 3rd party distribution channels, but direct channel lending experience will be considered.   A Cert IV in Finance and Broker Management is preferred, but not essential.

Be a quick learner with a high level of attention to detail.

Be proven to be a self-starter, who is self-motivated, driven, highly organised and thrive in a face paced lending sales environment.

Enjoy working collaboratively with other colleagues in the team.

Have a strong understanding of NCCP and responsible lending practices and financial services legislation and regulations.

Have effective time management skills and a current driver’s licence.

Key Responsibilities of the Role:

Influencing outcomes and behaviour to drive specific sales, service and growth targets in the residential lending portfolio of broker generated business in the assigned location.

Ongoing active management, growth, and development of the assigned portfolio of mortgage brokers

Provide guidance, training, and on-going coaching of mortgage brokers on the Bank’s credit policy, submission quality requirement, processes and products.

Assess opportunities within the portfolio in terms of the Bank’s risk appetite and risk management parameters to develop effective partnerships with brokers in the portfolio.

The role includes a fully maintained company vehicle, laptop and phone plus performance-based bonuses.
