As a Collection Officer you would be required to have a sound ability in the following:

    • Duties must be completed in a timely and efficient manner, with impeccable accuracy and attention to detail.

    • Outstanding verbal and written communication skills when dealing with Internal and External customers. 

    • Be a highly motivated, proactive team member and have the ability to complete tasks independently, and also in collaboration with the Collections Team.

      Day to Day your role will include the following but not limited to:

  • Implement and maintain effective controls in relation to Collections processes

  • Collect on accounts in arrears 0-59 days

  • Issue relevant notices for accounts in arrears

  • Identify accounts for possible Hardship assistance

  • Contact borrowers with regards to any Rates arrears

  • All other General and Collection duties as required

    Qualifications & Experience

    • Sound Microsoft Office Skills In Word, Excel and Outlook

    • Previous Collections experience considered favourably

    • Ability to gain knowledge of the Bank's policies & procedures

    • Ability to gain knowledge of Auswide Bank's core banking system (Ultracs)

    • To work efficiently to achieve the positions tasks and duties
