Auswide Bank is seeking a suitable candidate to fill the role of Head of Customer Banking - Branches.

The Role available:

Reporting to the Chief Customer Officer, the successful applicant will be required to successfully lead performance throughout Queensland across the 1st party direct teams in its branches to achieve the Bank’s strategic objectives.

What we are looking for:

A consummate banking professional with previous leadership experience in managing teams to outcomes. This is a challenging leadership role for a hands-on team focused financial sales professional.

Your Key Duties and Responsibilities will be:

·         Model the professionalism required of a senior leader

·         Demonstrate the leadership required to manage the team to achieve the Bank’s vision and goals

·         To work co-operatively with other stakeholders and high value customers to achieve the bank’s objectives

·         Lead the Area Branch Managers to ensure they understand their compliance requirements and are adhering to
          our HR policies

·         Develop marketing strategies in conjunction with the Head of Marketing to increase Auswide Bank’s brand and
         product awareness across Queensland.

·         Implement strategies to achieve growth in both the loan and deposit portfolios

·         Motivate, coach, train and develop the Area Branch Managers

·         Ensure all compliance and training is maintained for both yourself and your team

·         Identify any potential risks that may hinder the Bank’s reputation, safety, security and financial success

·         Proactively look for ways to improve the business and implement required actions

·         Understand the capacity of each location and monitor the management of outbound calling programs

About You?

Demonstrate extensive experience in leading and developing teams coupled with outstanding communication, negotiation and interpersonal skills.

Be able to demonstrate a drive for continuous improvement and a strong commercial acumen and business awareness.

The ability to evaluate and prioritise key tasks, and agility in managing multiple/conflicting deadlines.
