Application Support Specialist

 The successful candidate will have excellent analytical skills, proven ability to learn on the job and be capable of working in a team.

The role of an Application Support Specialist is to become a technical and operational expert in Auswide Bank's business applications, provide support to the IT service desk and individual end users in the use of these applications. You will work as part of a small team supporting the business.

Duties may include but are not limited to:
o Attain expert operational knowledge in the use and support of Auswide Bank's business systems.
o Support system users through mentoring to develop problem solving skills.
o Resolve problems associated with the configuration, installation and use of installed application software.
o Configure, install and test business system applications.
o Undergo role targeted industry training.
o Ensure knowledge and processes are documented and maintained.
o Some windows server administration.

Requirements
o Tertiary qualification or working towards a Tertiary qualification in a relevant discipline.
o Aptitude to quickly become proficient in application packages.
o Experience with IIS and web services.
o Help/Service Desk experience.
o Strong MS Office skills.
o Strong documentation skills.

Desirable Experience
o SQL Server experience.
o SharePoint exposure.
o Nintex workflow exposure.
o Business/ Data Analysis Experience.
o Financial Sector experience.
o Experience installing and administering Microsoft Windows Server.
