Mobile Banking Manager

This is a newly created position within the North QLD Team and the successful candidate will report to the Head of North QLD. The role will be suited to someone who is already based in Townsville or who has a previously demonstrated referral network in Townsville and a willingness to relocate back to Townsville. The successful candidate will be entirely mobile and not bound to a traditional branch setting.

The Role

  • Mobile Banker, servicing Townsville & the Broader NQ area north and west of Townsville.
  • Business Development skills and passion to provide outstanding customer service will be key to your success.
  • Specific focus on driving Owner Occupied and Investment Home loans and growing regular referral business.

The Responsibilities

  • Meet/ Exceed Key performance measures, these primarily being focused on Owner Occupied and Investment Lending growth.
  • Provide outstanding service to all customers through knowledge of products and processes.
  • Identifying opportunities to sell financial products and services to customers based on their specific needs.
  • Cultivate and grow local referral relationships to help drive continued opportunities for lending growth and cross sale opportunities.

The Key Requirements

  • An established network of referral partners who see value in the personal service you provide.
  • At least 5 years’ experience in a Retail Banking Lending Position.
  • Ability to process lending opportunities following the banks credit policies and verification and validation standards.
  • Listening, communication & negotiating skills that are relevant to a highly competitive financial environment.
  • Proven ability to meet/ exceed sales targets.
  • Current and Clean Driver’s License.
  • Ability and desire to work hours that best suit the needs of your customers and to deliver success for the business.
  • The ability to work independently and meet required deadlines.
